I write on the history of Eurasia, antiquity, the Silk Roads. I also translate Russian travel writings on Central Asia & Caucasus. My hope is that reading my work, you will feel as if you are exploring the remote history and lands of Inner Asia yourself.
My long term plan is to eventually publish several books. I hope to write books on both the Khazar and Uyghur Khaganates. I also plan to publish a collection of historical fiction short stories about Black Sea and Central Asia in antiquity, and eventually a novel written as a pseudo-chronicle of a Byzantine diplomat’s journey to find the legendary Pester John.
All of my work is completely free, but paid subscriptions are greatly appreciated.
