Not so much. In the past I would sometimes look up the meanings of things, but recently my dreams haven't been so vivid. I also use to write my dreams down upon waking up, but doing that is quite difficult for me. Maybe I should starting doing it again, I think it proved beneficial for me in the past
You should! Some dreams take time to decipher, and their meaning may not be immediately obvious. There are dreams I was only able to interpret because I kept the journal and noticed certain recurring patterns. If I hadn’t done this, I would have no idea what they meant.
And if there's one thing I've learned, it is that some symbols are heavily culture-dependent; what is considered a bad sign in one culture (e.g., a snake or serpent) may be deemed auspicious in another, and vice versa. Which is also why I am now skeptical of most 'generic' interpretations I see online haha
Fascinating; thanks for translating. Aside from Jung, are you familiar with any other books on dream interpretation?
